Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made by consumers on www.day-et.com and www.day-et.co.uk. The websites are operated by DAY ET ApS, a company registered in Denmark under VAT number DK40028285.

By placing an order with DAY ET, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We therefore recommend that you read them carefully before completing your purchase.

Placing an Order

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid payment method accepted by DAY ET.

Once you have placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of your purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of obvious pricing errors, technical issues, stock discrepancies or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order as agreed. We also reserve the right to reject or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, misuse or other unlawful activity.

If your order is cancelled after payment has been received, we will refund the full amount as soon as reasonably possible.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the website on which you are shopping and include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed before you complete your purchase.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa Electron.

Payment will only be taken once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

Delivery

We deliver to the countries available at checkout when you select your delivery address.

The estimated delivery time is displayed during checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation. Deliveries within the European Union and to the United Kingdom normally take 4–7 business days.

We work with a number of trusted shipping partners, including PostNord and Bring, depending on your delivery location.

Delivery charges are calculated based on your selected delivery method and displayed before you complete your purchase.

We always do our best to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure, operational disruptions, customs clearance (where applicable) or delays caused by our shipping partners. If a significant delay occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible.

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom are dispatched from Denmark. As the UK is outside the European Union, customs processing may affect delivery times.

Orders with a value above £100 may be subject to additional import charges. The amount will depend on the shipment and applicable UK import requirements. UK VAT, customs duties and any carrier handling fees are not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated during checkout and must be paid directly to the carrier. DAY ET ApS is not responsible for these charges.

CN22 customs documentation is attached to shipments to the United Kingdom where required.

The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to you once the goods have been delivered to you or to the delivery location selected during checkout.

Right of Withdrawal

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), takes possession of the goods.

If you have purchased multiple items in a single order, you may choose to withdraw from the purchase of some or all of the items.

The withdrawal period is considered to have been observed if you notify us of your decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.

You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal simply by refusing delivery of the goods or by failing to collect them without also informing DAY ET of your decision to withdraw.

When exercising your right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw.

Please note that returns are not free of charge. If you use the enclosed return label, the following return fee will be deducted from your refund:

EUR 10 for returns from EU countries.
GBP 20 for returns from the United Kingdom.

We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery or to alternative delivery addresses.

Extended Returns

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, DAY ET offers an extended return period of 30 days from the date you receive your order.

To make use of the extended return period, the item must be returned within 30 days of receipt and be in the same condition as when it was received.

Please note that returns are not free of charge. If you use the enclosed return label, the following return fee will be deducted from your refund:

EUR 10 for returns from EU countries.
GBP 20 for returns from the United Kingdom.

Returns sent without using the enclosed return label are not covered by our extended returns policy. We also do not accept returns sent cash on delivery or to alternative delivery addresses.

Our extended returns policy is a voluntary service offered in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your entire purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of our standard delivery option.

If you withdraw from only part of your order, the original delivery charge will not be refunded.

If you selected a delivery option that is more expensive than our standard delivery service, we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery option.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw. However, we may withhold your refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. You will not incur any additional fees as a result of the refund.

Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop in order to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.

If the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary for this purpose and their value has consequently been reduced, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the loss in value from your refund.

We recommend returning the goods in their original packaging and ensuring they are securely packed for transport.

You remain responsible for the goods until they have been received by us. We therefore recommend that you retain your proof of postage and any tracking information until your return has been processed.

Complaints

Your purchase is covered by the mandatory consumer protection legislation applicable in your country of residence.

If you believe an item is faulty or does not conform to your purchase, please contact us at hello@day-et.com as soon as possible. To help us assess your claim, we kindly ask you to describe the issue in as much detail as possible and, where relevant, include photographs. While this is not mandatory, it helps us process your claim more efficiently.

If your claim is accepted and the item needs to be returned, we will reimburse your reasonable return shipping costs. Please ensure that the goods are securely packaged and retain your proof of postage and any tracking information until your claim has been resolved.

Limitation of Liability

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information provided on our websites is accurate and up to date. However, errors may occasionally occur in product descriptions, pricing, images, availability or other content.

We reserve the right to correct any obvious errors and to cancel orders where such errors have affected your purchase. If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any payment will be refunded as soon as reasonably possible.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

Force Majeure

DAY ET shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, industrial disputes, transport disruptions, supplier failures or other unforeseen events.

Where such circumstances arise, we will fulfil our obligations as soon as reasonably practicable.

Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with the way we have handled your complaint, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@day-et.com so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter.

If we are unable to reach a satisfactory solution, you may be entitled to refer your complaint to the relevant consumer dispute resolution body in your country of residence. Information about the appropriate authority is generally available from your national consumer protection authority.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Denmark.

However, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of the country in which you are habitually resident.
