The Fabric

The Emma Amelia print is part of Liberty's archive-inspired floral designs. Created as a “sister print” to Emma Bloom, it was reimagined from fragments of 1930s Liberty fabrics into a new composition featuring foxgloves, primroses, daisies, and bluebells — flowers chosen to evoke nostalgia and familiarity.

Printed on Liberty’s Sugar Maple cotton weave at their Italian print mill near Lake Como, the fabric combines craft and heritage. Following Liberty’s tradition of giving their floral designs timeless, feminine names, Emma Amelia was reintroduced for the Summer Gallery 2025 collection — a celebration of reimagined botanical patterns and soft, romantic colour stories.
