These terms of trade and delivery are in use on products bought on www.day-et.co.uk. To shop on Day-et.com you have to be at least 18 years old and have a valid debit card accepted by DAY ET. Day-et.com is owned by Day et A/S, VAT DK40028285.
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Visa Electron. The amount will be charged to you once the product is shipped.
The prices are in GBP. The prices shown on the website are excluding the delivery costs. You can choose the delivery option during the completion of your order.
Delivery takes about 4-7 workdays after you have received your order confirmation. Delivery times may change in case of unforeseen situations or deliveries to islands without bridges. We deliver with Postnord.
You will always be able to see the total shipping costs when choosing a delivery option during the completion of your order. The destinations can be seen at our checkout when you are choosing delivery option.
Please note that on orders above £100 a cost of £50+ import delivery will be charge.

You have the right to cancel a purchase without cause within 30 days. If you have purchased more than one product in an order, you can choose to cancel the purchase of some or all products. Read below about refund of shipping costs on cancellation.
The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you have received your product. If the day of expiry is a holiday or a weekend day it will be prolonged to the following weekday.
You have to contact us to cancel. You may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a letter to us at DAY ET, Esplanaden 8C, 1263 København K in which you announce your cancellation wish. After receiving your cancellation, we will confirm it through mail. You can fill out the cancellation form or send any other clear message that you regret your purchase on our website. If you use this cancellation method, you will receive confirmation by mail right away.
The cancellation period is complied with if you have sent your cancellation notice before the cancellation period is expired.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the product or by not picking it up without informing DAY ET about your wish to cancel the purchase.
You can use this standard cancellation form. However, this is not mandatory:

If you cancel your purchase of a product you have to send the product to us at Blue Water Shipping, c/o DAY ET, Emil Neckelmanns Vej 20, 5220 Odense SØ, Denmark without unnecessary delay and at most 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel.
Note, the return is only free of cost if you use the enclosed return label. Otherwise, you must pay the sending costs of the items. Products cannot be shipped on cash on delivery or without delivery. You are charged for the return of the product.

Please note that on our packages to UK all CN22 information is attached on the package label. If you wish to return, please make sure that the information is till visible on the package.*
We require a CN22 sticker for products that are returned abroad so that they can be registered and valued accordingly. If products are returned without this label there is a possibility we will not receive your returned products.
We refund all payments from you when you cancel, including shipping costs. However this does not apply in the following case:
If you have purchased several products in an order and only cancel part of your purchase, we will not refund the shipping costs.
If you have chosen a delivery option that is more expensive than the cheapest option we offer, we will not refund the additional costs. We refund the amount without unnecessary delay and in any case at most 14 days from the day we have received your cancellation notice. Until we have received your returned products or you have sent documentation of return, however, we can retain the refund.
Unless you have expressly agreed to something else, we will pay the refund using the same payment method that you used during the original transaction. In any case you will not be imposed with any form of fees as a consequence of the refund.
You will only pay for a potential deterioration of the items’ value, which is caused by an unnecessary treatment when testing the items’ attributes.
You are allowed to examine the item like you can in a store, but you are not allowed to use it. If you have used the item in a way that is not possible nor allowed in a store, and we can’t resell it at a full price, then you must expect that we charge you for the deterioration of the item and only refund you the difference. If we can’t resell the item at all, then we won’t pay you the refund. The item must be returned in its original packaging.
You ought to make sure the item is properly packaged when returning. You will carry the risk for the item until we receive it. Therefore, please save the receipt for send as well as the track-and-trace number.
If a purchased item has shortcomings - e.g. material or manufacturing defects - the Sales Law is applicable. You can complain about product shortcomings within 24 months of the time of delivery by reaching out to us using email@example.com.
We ask you to illuminate as detailed as possible what the problem is. It is not a requirement but it makes it easier to locate the error and minimize the time spent processing your complaint.
If the complaint is justified and the shortcoming cannot be alleviated without returning the product, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs. Remember that the product always needs to be sent in proper packaging and that you should get a receipt for shipping. Keep postal receipts, including information on shipping costs and possibly track-and-trace-number.
A complaint about our product can be sent to the Center of Complaints, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can also send your complaint on www.forbrug.dk.
The EU-commission online platform for complaints can also be used. This is relevant for customers with addresses in another EU-country than Denmark. You can send your complaint here - https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. When sending the complaint, you must include our email firstname.lastname@example.org.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
